My experience was very disappointing. The room was filthy, with sticky floors and unclean sheets. I found hairs on the bed and even urine spots in the bathroom. I had initially booked for three nights but left after the first due to the horrible conditions.

During my stay, I found the hotel to be a quick walk of about 2 km to the Count Basie Center for the Arts, where I enjoyed a great live show, and less than a 5-minute walk to Count Basie Park, perfect for leisurely strolls amidst beautiful scenery.

The Queen Studio provided a comfortable environment with clean and well-maintained amenities. The bedding exceeded expectations for comfort, making it easy to relax after a long day. However, the noise from the hallway could be heard in the room, which detracted from the serene atmosphere. Additionally, the presence of pet odors in the corridors was quite unpleasant, making for a less-than-ideal experience during my stay.
